As most fans know, the original Greatest Journey CD has the song Orinoco Flow on it while new releases of it have The Soft Goodbye instead. I wonder if they chose that song because its title makes it seem like they are grieving the song that used to be there and telling the fans that they wish it were Orinoco Flow as well. What do you think?

It's possible, I suppose.  Undecided   It's also possible that they decided that  "The Soft Goodbye" had a little more commercial appeal- although I like both. I suppose only the production staff knows for sure, but it's fun to speculate.

It's possible that they lost the rights to use OF as it's Enya's song.

I think that's it cause didn't they cut OF from the ANJ and TGJ DVD's?

I know that it isn't on TGJ DVDs or CDs anymore. I also know that there are some ANJ that doesn't have that song, but whether it is on current releases or not is for someone with spare time to go to a store to find out for sure.

I got the TGJ DVD May 2009 and it has OF but when I got the ANJ dvd July/August 2010 OF wasn't on it but anything could have changed in that year

I  think that there are two  different    editions of  ANJ-  the one  WITH   Orinoco Flow and the one without. I happen to have the one without.
