Why is it now called The World Falls Away? Didn't it used to be called Give Me Your Hand?

It changed after the taping at Atlanta. For me "Give Me Your Hand" was a better title.

Agreed. Still prefer the old title. No real explanation as to why the name changed.

I like both titles, but I do like the old name best.  And I'm probably just guessing, and I might be wrong, but it could be because of copyright issues.

You can't copyright titles of anything, be it a book or a song: http://www.copyright.gov/help/faq/faq-protect.html. No idea why they changed the title, but it wasn't for any copyright reason.

I think they realized that 'Give me your hand' was the english title of the instrumental bagpipe melody and so they decided that the song written by David should have had a unique title.

Give Me Your Hand was the literal translation of the air to the song David wrote.  It's a traditional Irish tune and he put words to it.  Celtic Woman is in good company recording it.  It also has a strong pipes piece, showing Tommy Martin's talents.  The Chieftans recorded it, with Paddy Moloney playing and Planxty also did with Liam O'Flynn.  They are two of the most highly regarded pipers alive today, so Tommy's in good company.

I agree though I don't get the name change.
