I'm on-call all of next week including the holiday. Amy Rivard's like 15 minutes away from where I would be if I wasn't on-call next week. I swear it's like a conspiracy or something. I can't even get out of this one because I already had to jump through hoops to get out of 3 on-call this year, including 1 to see Chloë and 1 to see CW.
2 out of 3 ain't bad I suppose but this is killing me. I want to meet get so bad!

I'm trying to lane change and someone comes over from 2 lanes over through traffic at 90 mph and I have to swerve back into my previous lane to avoid getting hit.

I hate it when I'm on-call. Ruins my entire week and my weekend and stresses the heck out of me.
I also hate it when management basically feeds me to the wolves (aka customers). I want to help, but when every customer expects the world and management expects me to give the world to every person without the resources to give them more than basic support, it gets stressful, frustrating, and tiresome. Management needs to ACTUALLY start having my back instead of just pretending to unless they want me to have a freakin' nervous breakdown, honestly.
Yeah, I've heard it before: "If you don't love what you do, do something else." Well, not that simple I'm afraid and the rabbit hole down which that path leads is too dark and scary for me right now.
And at the risk of mixing metaphors, tugging on a thread like that might cause other things to unravel.
Celtic Woman, my sweet angels and voices thereof, I call upon your music once again to help maintain my my sanity.
