From my trip to Colorado and New Mexico in 2005.  Most of my photos are kept on external hard drives so I'll have to get them off tomorrow.

(Looking out from the top of an extinct volcano in NE New Mexico)

And yes, the last two are dead serious in what they are markers for.  I am that much of a nerd.  I have something even more interesting later.

Awesome pics, Thanks for sharing. I love the 3rd one. I've always wanted to go to Colorado but every time we tried there was always a wildfire.

For those of us posting on this thread, what kind of camera(s) do you use?

My older pictures are either a Canon Rebel XT or XSI.  The really old ones I may post later are actually scanned slides shot with a Nikon SLR I can't even remember the type.  Now I shoot with a Canon 7D or if it won't work (it has a 100-400mm lens so close up it's not good) I use a Canon Powershot A1300.

I use a Canon power shot A470, I want to get a Pentax but there really expensive.

Any reason why the Pentax if I might ask?

The picture's come out alot clearer and better, and your can do more with a Pentax then you can any other camera you have more options. Also with a Pentax you have really fast shudder and better focus.

Which model?  I ask because I'm not familiar with their cameras, only Canon and Nikon.
