I love anything Lynn sings but the stand out for me is Si do Mhaimeo with Mairead Carlin.  Those two breathe a new life into the song as their voices are perfectly suited for one another.

I alway's thought if they kept She Moved Thru The Fair from Emerald DVD we would of heard that duet instead.
Just imagine the voices x Shocked wish there was a way to hear Alex & Lynn's version too.. I'm sure Alex & Mairead C on Si do Mhaimeo was breathtaking also.

For me, nothing sounds as good as Lynn and Mairead singing together.  Though I think Lynn could sing the dictionary and I wouldn't get bored  Cheesy

Lynn sang Lagan Love beautifully and I found a video on Youtube of her singing Scarborough Fair on the 10th Anniversary tour, which she also sang beautifully.

Aside from Scarborough Fair for the gratification that she sang that again,
Her Danny Boy is beautiful, I wish someone had captured it so we could listen to compare it with Meav's
We could even sync both of them together if it were possible..

Lynn' on The Last Rose Of Summer too beautiful, Meav in another different way. Very different Chloë tone fits  for Lynn's style.

It was unbelievable I mean the first time Lynn sung it, it was the very first song she would sing for us getting to know her../ I saw Meav live on ANJ tour during the Meav/Hy alternations. To listen one year Meav sing all of the songs then next other year same show but replaced by Lynn. Unbelievable how Lynn was magic because it was amazing gasp how would it be different, Lynn carried the solos and Meav parts as if Meav never left, the atmosphere, their both calm, more poise serious standing to the group. The choir behind Lynn kept CW alive it didn't have to feel no more as a new girl. Lynn's entrance to CW,  she sounded as if she belonged her voice & sound fitted the Original CW sound purpose-made it as if she was another member unseen. There's never been a replacement as close to prefectualiry as her there. In 2014 Lynn was the perfect filler for Lisa L singing her parts. I was mesmerized how Lynn could take her voice and sing so confidently in Lisa's place. I heard Lisa L was a replacement to supposedly fit Lynn.

If you want an idea just listen to Danny Boy their group version from SFTH and listen only to Lynn's voice in it. My Lagon Love is the next best it has the accapella range, choir behind, just as Danny Boy. The Last Rose Of Summer is where you can clearly identify her voice range compared & differently with Meav, check those out. Wink

Who would of Thought ....not My Lagon Love but Carolina Rua most popular! Everyone's #1 pick anf it can't be seen or enjoyed on the SFTH DVD nor a CW version on CD, at least we owe Lynn to the solo 1.
