Recording in a professional studio is very expensive, and I can't afford it. But I really want to record my first official album. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I might be able to raise enough to pay for it? Thanks.

Well, you could start a fund for it. I do that, if I want something or need something, I start a fund. I put all my extra change or cash that I don't spend and drop it into a container. Before you know it, you will have enough.

I don't have a lot of money though, and what I do have is in the bank. Because of my disability I'm limited to what jobs I can do. I sing at nursing homes, but I haven't had any gigs in a long time. So I don't have any left over change.

Oh, I'm sorry about that. Well, pray. Ask God to lead you to some money for it. He knows your hopes and dreams and knows how much they mean to you. You could also try to get some friends and family to pray or maybe you all could put some money together.

You might try setting up a fundraiser on a website like Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Sellaband. You have been gifted with an amazing voice and I really hope you are able to record an album!

I think each one is different. Some take a percentage of the money when the goal is reached, or if you do not reach your goal, they take a larger percentage. I would check each website and maybe search them online to see what other users have to say.
