Welcome, Ellen.  I read your interesting post.  I am so glad you are a part of our family now.  I know that M&G passes are difficult to get these days.  Your story about inspiration from Mairead strikes a familiar chord.  In 2009 I was visiting with a gentleman before the show and I will never forget his words: "That girl that plays the violin just slays me.  In fact she inspired my granddaughter to take violin lessons."  So you are not the only one to be inspired.  Also, Mairead has her own forum.  I am not on it but I understand that it is an active forum.  I don't know if she responds to posts but you might join it and let her know how you feel.
