So, all you you know that I'm a great fan of Andrew Lloyd Webber and I suddenly found a picture of him with a rat in his hands - it was from his 2008 casting show "I'd Do Anything" where he searched for a Nancy and an Oliver for a revival production of Oliver!. It was from episode 2 where he wore a red shirt, but later a blue one (his short in the picture was blue). Sadly, I couldn't find him with the rat, even though there was a mission for the girls featuring rats. I love rats! Too bad, I couldn't find him with a rat. Does anyone know that clip? However, I watched some clips form the show and found my favourite - Jessie Buckley! I later found out she is Irish! And I think she would be a wonderful Celtic Woman member. She is younger than Chloe (born in December 1989). She has a cute face and her hair, teeth, singing style and the way ALW likes her reminds me of young Sarah Brightman - but even more adorable! Her curly hair, expressions, everything about her is totally lovely. And she is Irish! She got the second place in the end. Just watch this: Truly Scrumptious (one of the most adorable things I have ever seen) The Man That Got AwayAs Long As He Needs MeThe First Time Ever I saw Your FaceClips before she sings (I got the shoes she wears at 5:10) Have Yourself A Merry Little ChristmasAll I AskMaybe This Time and Send In The ClownsI Still BelieveDon't Rain On My ParadeBest OfWith One LookWhistle Down The Windsinging Jazzand if you are not in love after watching these, this one will make you obsessed with her: Oiche Chiuin (Silent Night)Jessie is sweet and nice and pretty and irish and tomboyish, yet feminine and has a sweet voice. She is experienced in musical tehater, able to sing jazz and still very Celtic! Could you imagine a better addition to our CWuties (exept any of the former members)? I couldn't!!! Aaaaaaand ALW loves her! He adores Alex and Hayley, so a third ALW CWutie would fit just fine! Dear David Downes, PLEASE invite her to the CW family!!! I only got to know her yesterday and I'm already jessiesessed!

If you want to watch something really adorable - try Truly Scrumptious! My favourite Nancy (Jessie, of course) with my favourite Oliver (Gwion). That show is six years old, but I really enjoy it.

She would be great in funny upbeat songs and the ceili songs and fabulous in interaction with kids. But she is also able to sing slow, emotional songs like "Send In The Clowns" (one of the most difficult songs ever!!!) and Celtic songs and she can at least sing in Irish. Maybe she speaks it, too? And she is pretty (not that imprtant, but a great bonus) and seems to be very nice! And she owns my fave pair of shoes! And she is great in group and in solo numbers. Perfect Celtic Woman!

The one thing I miss about Celtic Woman was the original line-up of styles. Not the singers themselves (although I do miss them all), but their styles. We had a classical crossover artist, Chloe, a more contemporary artist, Lisa Kelly, and two more traditional singers, Meav and Orla. After Orla left though, we only had one traditional singer in Lynn and later Lisa Lambe. Now we've gotten back to two traditional singers, Lisa Lambe and Mairead Carlin, as well as one contemporary, Susan. We need another classical artist like Chloe!

I agree with you, mattycakes, but I think Lisa L and Mairéad C are semi-Celtic, not Celtic like (Órlagh, Deirdre, Lynn and Méav)... So we have two half Celts, a full Celt (Lynn), two half contemporaries, a full contemporarie and... a pixie!
Jessie is contemporary/musical theater, but I think she'd be able to sing Celtic music. I totally wanted to have a new Celtic/Classical member, I was obsessed with that idea but it was a theory and now I am obessed with an actually existing girl that doesn't fit my made-up image of a new CW, but that's actually just adorable, no matter if I expected her or not. So I think we can't make any "rules" for that. AND I'd like to have a girl with a little lower voice. Jessie can sing very calming but also very powerful. And she has lots of charisma and that is more important than anything else. I though we'd need another classical or celtic artist - but all we need is a girl that fits in and is lovely, because every line up is unique and I think there is no "how to make a perfect CW line up" principle. Just imagine a line up of... um... Enya (celtic), Loreena McKennit (celtic), Charlotte Church (classical), Sierra Boggess (contemporary/musical) and Linda Lampenius (fiddler). All of them nice in their own right but even though they are the "perfect" choices by genre, they would make a horrible CW line up! So, I think CW is wonderful the way it is. But I want five members and I hope Lynn is going to stay after Lisa returns! But in case she doesn't (just in case... I hope she'll stay!!!), I would want another addition. And I think Jessie would fit in perfect, no matter what genre she comes from - as long as it's CW compatible. And her's is.

Now that Lynn sadly has left CW after Lisa came back (admit it, most of you hoped just like me, she'd stay!), we have four members again/still.
I still couldn't come up with a girl, that would suit CW more than Jessie. She is adorable!

A tad off topic but i was thinking that Siobhan Owen would be wonderful too . She has a haunting voice like Orla but with a bit more power. She also is an excellent harper and loves and specializes in Celtic music .

Siobhan would definitely fit in! And she is Celtic - she's Welsh.
Two more classical girls would be Anna O'Byrne (Australian, obviously of Irish ancestry, based on her name and red hair) and Camilla Kerslake (Welsh). Botha re fabulous!
Anyways, I have a special thing for Jessie...

I didn't realize Anna's Irish-Australian. She played Christine Daae in the Phantom of the Opera sequel called Love Never Dies, right?

Yes and she also played her in The Phantom of the Opera on stage in Australia and in the West End. She is my favourite Christine, I just love her!

According to Celtic Woman Fan Page on Facebook, Lynn hasn't quite left yet. They don't cite their sources (and I couldn't find anything on CW's page or the website), but they claimed today on their page that: "Lynn will be back for the Brazil tour, and Lisa Lambe will be back for the European, UK and Symphony."Although, when CW announced that they were adding two more shows to the Brazil tour, they did use a photo of Lynn in the graphic that went with it. And awhile back, they tweeted out a picture of Lynn in a Brazil soccer jersey. So it all kind of makes sense. And yes, a bunch of people commented underneath "Both should come back!" So we are not alone in our wish for four soloists plus Mairéad N.
