The first issue of Alex's newsletter came out today by email to those who signed up. Lots of good information there. She is also asking for information from her fans. Here is an excerpt: "GETTING TO KNOW "YOU!"
Ok, so I have been wanting to do this for a long time now. I love getting to know you all a bit through FB and the messages you post on the website and the fanforum.
I find it extremely humbling to read about your personal stories, how open you have been with me and how you came in contact with me through Celtic Woman, and how their music has been a source of good in your lives. I have really been inspired by your feedback to Be Still My Soul and I want to turn the spotlight on you guys because I think your stories should be heard and shared with everyone!"She is asking fans to send her short videos that tell a little bit about you, how you first came in contact with Celtic Woman/Alex and how the music has touched you, and which song on the new album "Be Still My Soul" means the most to you and why. If you love Alex and always wanted to tell her how much her music has meant to you, this is your chance. She even went on to say that she would post the videos on her website. Check your spam folder. Newsletters are one of the most commonly misidentified e-mails by the spam filters.

In the newsletter, there is an email address listed where she asked people to send the videos - you can also use that same address if you are writing instead. That's where I sent mine. |
