Since David Downes had played the keyboard as well as the piano in the Celtic Woman tours, I think he can conduct the orchestra again, so I think this is for the tour. Does anybody agree with me?

I agree with you, Kim. David also plays pipes and whistles.

Yes, he is a musician, a songwriter/composer, and an orchestra conductor. I've met him a few times and he is very nice, too.

There is no Lambe like our Lil' Lambe. Mairead Carlin is the real deal.

So, I guess we could also say he is a talent scout.

I saw him talking on the cell phone. My mommy didn't let me talk to him.

You do realize that they'd need another tour van to lug all of the instruments and musicians with them on each concert stop, right? Hah.

More than one bus for the musicians (unless they would hold still for Greyhound-style jam-'em-in seating), and a semi for the instruments and furniture. But it would be the musicians' salaries that would scuttle the project. Most of us will have to settle for the DVD, which should have a full orchestra.

Lol, they would not even pay more than 4 choir members (who also count as dancers) for tours, at this stage. Let alone an orchestra.

So would there be a concert DVD for this concert, then? I'm thinking this concert is just their "The Best of" collection. I did not want to get tickets this time since I'm saving up to go to Ireland next year for vacation, and then for a trip to Japan in 2016.
