Méav sounds much like Mary Costa!

Seriously, I think Méav and Mary Costa (who dubbed Aurora in Disney's Sleeping Beauty) sound so very much alike. Not indentical, of course, since Mary has a heavier voice and Méav sounds with more ease, but the similarity is obvious!

 Wonderful  clips  Chiara !     Brought  back  some   fond  memories as  well.  I  see what  you  mean about  the  voices.  I  would  say Mary  C.  has  a  touch  of  Julie  Andrews  as  well.  A combo   of  Meav  and  Julia.

 I  noticed  that  too about  Meav.       There  is  something  very exact  and  precise  about  both  of their    abilities   to  "articulate"  , if  you know  what I mean.    I  saw  that   "Lusty  Month Of  May" too- what a  hoot !      I  know  Meav  would have  fun  with  that  song . She  does  have  a good, dry  sense  of  humor.

Actually, Kimberly, she is haas started to live a long time - 84 years - ago. She's still pretty fit though. But i think she has retired from the show bz
