I Love Meav she was her best at The Divina's in Cherbourg,
This is not a topic of Celtic Woman but since anything to do with Meav,
does anyone know what happened, there were plans for a US tour that never quite started right after the PBS special,
were we in for more from this talented group.

I own 2 copies of that wonderful Divinas concert where Sweet Lady Meav was indeed at her best as you say.  It was filmed in the spring of 2012 with a limited U.S. tour planned the next year. That never took off for a couple of reasons. Reportedly, one of the other two ( NOT Meav) had gotten pregnant and understandably didn't want to risk a tour in that condition, and ticket sales weren't exactly as high as what various venues wanted to see. I know that part because I had a meet and greet ticket package to see Meav and the other 2 live in Detroit the year in question and was profoundly disappointed when I learned it was cancelled. It would have been my first chance ever to see Meav live and I was living for that day.  I contacted the Detroit concert venue and this is what their PR representative told me. But I think you can still order the lovely DVD and CD if you haven't already of the Divinas. I still hope for the day when I can see her. |

Thank You Sweet Meaviac for your eccentric update. As I see you love Meav so much, I see there is favor coming your way, I Believe there is a time coming and you will get to see Meav live.  This makes me sad,  :'(because although I went to Celtic Woman live many times, my very first live show, had Meav in alternation with Hayley, and happily the first half cities were for Meav, have Meav not been I wouldn't of gotten a chance of a life-time to see all four original Celtic Woman live. I understand Kimberly, Celtic Woman came to my city from 2006-2010, Chloe and Lisa announced everytime it's fascinating we been back every year since 2006 happy we're back, so you must be tired of us by now, jokingly. Although after that they stopped touring here since the 3 girls setup 2011-2014. Now I'm excited again they're returning here for The 10th Anniversary Tour, how surprising.. so you never know. Even Lynn's return to Celtic Woman a bit the same thing the group she was working with before it didn't work out and the Bluebellies was really short done. |

Yes, I haven't ordered The Divina's CD or DVD, I'm planning too,  The Shenandoah is the best I've ever heard, and Meav truly does a phenomenal job with it. I'm from France, so since Divina's everytime I see that castle I see Meav there, haha, even at Epcot in France at Disney World just wherever I'm there, I picture Meav with a champagne, on the show Impression de France the film is from a certain date but flying over cherbourg before was just a French castle to me, but now when they showcase that scene flying, it's like Meav is down there preparing to sing with Rita & Yulia  |

Except that it was not in Cherbourg (which is a port in Normandy), but Chambord (which is a castle in the Loire region. Just to be precise. |

Thank you RealFan ... that was beautiful ! I loved the scenery and such. Sweet Lady Meav is royalty as far as I'm concerned. Although I know that Meav is indeed Irish , I always thought she looked like she had a small bit of French in her for some reason. |

I would be interested in your opinion on her French pronunciation in those songs. |
