If anyone has my r_ropes@bellsouth.net email address saved, you can delete it. I got tired of subsidizing AT&T.

Funny thing ... I have a brand new Home Theater System connected to my (27") TV with Dolby Pro-Logic Surround Sound etc, etc, etc. But, I watch all my DVDs ... (yeah, all my DVDs ... I have like 6 million DVDs but, well, ALL I watch now is Celtic Woman DVDs) ... on my computer. I have the 24" Wide Screen Flat Panel LCD Monitor so DVDs or concerts are excellent on this Dell of mine. But, this is a new and expensive Dell PC so I hope I don't wear this out!
But, I wouldn't be at all surprised if I wear something out, what with watching Celtic Woman DVDs ... 7 days a week!!

I have one of those too and massive surround sound speakers for my puter. I usually just play the DVD's in a window to the side while I surf or do whatever. In all honesty I don't think I've actually used my TV or DVD Player in at least a year...lol My puter is a trooper, though. Its been hanging in there so far....

I have a 57 inch HDTV and an 8 speaker 1000 watt surround sound and I am loving it. I do watch a little TV between CW dvd's but not much.

No. But, I've played my ... "A New Journey - Live At Slane Castle" ... DVD probably a couple hundred times now. I believe, seriously, they will last almost indefinately.
