No, it's an original song, written for Celtic Woman and Oonagh

So after reading this the music video makes since.
In Irish mythology and folklore, Tír na nÓg or Tír na hÓige is one of the names for the Otherworld, or perhaps for a part of it. It is depicted as a supernatural realm of everlasting youth, beauty, health, abundance and joy.
So Oonagh put the a portal in the ground and was transported to this "otherworld" where she meets CW. The end it shows the portal still there and her still in this "otherworld".
Just my thoughts.

No, this version has been written by some German songwriters whose names I forgot...

Kind of both. It is a newer arrangement/ version written for the girls so it seems like an original. Yes on yahoo/Google there is an actual older song of the same name but a little different meaning and possibility of it being written by someone in Germany, I think and could be wrong. I thought it to myself when I saw it!

Tir Na Nog literally translates to "Land of the Young," as mentioned in this thread. I have the melody (instrumental) of the song on my iPhone. It's on my one Dan Gibson's Solitude CDs, "Gentle World: Celtic Reverie," as the last song on the album. The original melody of Tir Na Nog is more relaxed. As mentioned, this rendition of the song for the concert has some connections to the beauty and youth of the Celtic soul, but the melody is more upbeat and unlike the original.
