Is it true the choir is only 4 men? Not too sure how I feel about that.

I had a great opportunity to speak with Sarah & Edel outside the buses at the Akron show last year.  Had I known it would be the last time I would see them with Celtic Woman, I surely would have bid them a fond goodbye.  As it was, Ray had gotten sick and had to leave the show early, so I opted instead to talk to the guys, who gave me an update on his condition.  Sad

Here's a photo of "When You Go" with the choir deployed across the stage:

Apparently, it seems that the choir does sing in "When You Go".  On the DVD recording, the choir was nowhere to be seen, but I swore I heard the choir.  Did anyone else notice that?

This seems to also be the case with "Whole of the Moon" as only the female choir members were on the stage, yet I swore I heard male voices in that song.

I haven't gotten to meet Sarah or Edel, sadly.  Cry But based on everything I've read, they were amazing I hope they come back for the next tour.

The 4-man choir does a pretty good job. The absence of women in the choir honestly didn't have a huge impact on the sound on tour vs the sound on the album / PBS special, in my opinion, since the leading ladies are more than capable of carrying a tune. But I do think they could get a bit of a fuller sound on some of their songs with a bigger choir that included some ladies.
