Like every year, the programmes of the various summer festivals taking place in my native Britanny have been announced, and now is the time to tell them to you.

For starters, we get the festival Kan al Loar, which takes place in Landerneau, from july 7th to july 10th 2016. Not really great names here, but you can find something to like :

The Festival de Cornouaille, which takes place from july 19th to july 24th in Quimper, has a bit more great names : Alan Stivell, Red Cardell, Soldat Louis, Ronan le Bars, and Doolin'. More informations here :

The guest country of the Festival Interceltique de Lorient, which takes place from august 5 to august 14th in Lorient, will be Australia. So quite a few australian guests, but also Alan Stivell, the Corrs, Joan Baez, Siobhan Owen and more. Plus of course the Nuit Interceltique, which puts together pipers, dancers and singers for a night not to be forgotten. More information here :

And lastly, here comes the Festival de la Saint Loup, which takes place from august 16th to august 21st in Guingamp, ith Nolwenn Korbell, Denez Prigent, Marina Kaye, Colline Hill and Miossec. More info here :

And like every four years, here comes Brest 2016, an exposition of old ships and boats, from all sizes and descritions, coming from every corner of the world, and which will take place from july 13th to july 19th in Brest.
