If the girls weren't singers....

While I am very glad they are singers, I was wondering, if they didn't sing what would they do?

Ooo, this looks like it could be a fun thread. I'll start it off with a serious one and then a goofy one.

Lisa Kelly:

• Probably a music teacher. She loves kids and she's kind of in that business with the Lisa Kelly Voice Academy.
• A dancer. Scott Porter's got a background in dancing and Lisa does have some pretty impressive moves. 

Mairead Nesbitt:

• A supermodel. 
• A sprinter or marathon runner.
• Do commercials as The Energizer Bunny, because keeps going and going and going. The girl has an unlimited abundance of energy!

I've got a good idea for where I can get some more fun ones. I'll give it a try and get back to you on Wednesday.

Chloë (or even better, Lisa Kelly and Chloë together):

• Comedy: They both like a good laugh and they're really, really entertaining when they get together!

Chloë was actually getting a few comedy lessons recently. She likes trying new things.

I asked Alex this question this morning and here's how she replied:

Oh gosh! I couldn't pick for anyone else, but Once upon a time I used to be a Travel Agent, I would either [be] a Psychiatrist or I think I would work in TV or Film on the other side of the camera not as a performer or maybe a sound technician....it's hard to get good sound and its soooooo important.

Éabha McMahon:

I could also see her teaching music (especially Sean-nós) if she wasn't a performer. She was giving Glenn some lessons earlier this year.

I think if she weren't a singer, her heart would lead her towards charity work. After graduating but before committing to music, Éabha spent time in Vietnam and Mongolia working with the Christina Noble Children’s Foundation.

Once Éabha dedicated herself to music, she was working as a babysitter part time in order to pay rent. She devoted most of her time to music, because she wanted to be ready when her big break came (and she was   )!

Éabha's in pretty amazing shape too. She'd be awesome as an instructor for group workout sessions.

Mairéad Carlin was actually asked about this in an interview a few weeks ago:

After her album got shelved just before it was going to be released, she was teaching music to kids before she joined Celtic Woman.

She says she couldn't see herself doing anything but music.

But I suppose if she wasn't involved with music or if she were to do something else on the side, she might be a nutritionalist. She's actually taking a course on the subject, if I recall.

She would also be an amazing fitness instructor. She likes to exercise and she's in amazing shape.
