I'm not asking for a specific age, but when the Wiki info pops up, it says Alex is the oldest. Deirdre is the oldest of all the girls right? Again, I'm NOT asking for an age number

   i  believe  you  are  right.  Wiki  is  not  always  accurate. It  is  probably  pretty  close,  though.  Actually,  the  only  2  CWs  whose  age  isn't  specified  at all  are  Mairead  Nesbitt  and  Meav.

I think a scavenger hunt and connecting the dots will be needed to answer the question.

One technique would be to select some dates from one article, then find their age for that same event mentioned directly or indirectly in another article.

For example:
- Wikipedia: When she was X years old, she accomplished Y
- Other source: In 198x, she accomplished Y
- There can be more layers, making it difficult and time consuming to determine, but it may be possible
- That would give you a point of reference and you can compute when she was born
- If you do the same for both ladies, it would allow you to verify their relative ages

Another technique would be to know how much younger / older she was relative to someone for which you know the age.

ie. if Lisa were to say something like "I grew up idolizing Alex Sharpe. Alex was x years ahead of me so she was someone I could look up to as I was getting into the business."

Anyways, I poked around for a bit and couldn't find anything to either confirm or dispute what is listed in Wikipedia.

I'm curious, have you seen anything that contradicts Alex and Deirdre's relative ages from what Wikipedia indicates?

Either way, I think we can all agree they're both awesome singers and they look amazing, regardless of their age.

The only ones that didn't tell their age are Méav and Máiréad N, and they are certainly among the oldest. Deirdre is two years older than Alex. She's born in 1970, and Alex in 1972. Both are official, so it's not like we couldn't say it.
