Lisa Lambe's working on a new album!   Cheesy

She announced her artist residency at Killruddery (http://www.killruddery.com/) on Twitter.

She'll be creating and recording her new album there this year along with Martin Brunsden and Fiachna Ó Braonáin.

Here's the Tweet:

I'll try to find more info when I catch my breath.

Soooo much news today!  Shocked

Here's a 4 minute interview from Lisa Lambe on RTE1 radio (August 2, 2016):
https://soundcloud.com/glen-swiggum/lisa-lambe-on-with-ryan-tubridy-on-rte1-radio

Lisa talks about things such as:
  • Killruddery
  • Her new album
  • Her life growing up

It's quite a nice interview. They cover a lot of ground and Lisa is adorable.

The trouble is, her album isn't available outside of Ireland. In France, all iTunes has is the single "Heaven". I couldn't find it on Amazon. So where can I buy it ?

Not on iTunes, no (at least, not on the french version). But I just bought it on her site. Thanks for the information.

Oh, BTW, There's another song available on iTunes : "16 Dead Men", after WB Yeates. That one too I bought.

Well, that was quick : I got it this morning ! I had ordered it on the 8th, and two days later, it was in my mailbox, in a nice shiny green bubblewrap paper. Will listen to it this evening.

Lisa seems to be having a great time at Killruddery.

It looks like a really nice and inspiring location.

The location is lucky to have Lisa in its presence  Wink

Does anyone have a link to that article (if it was available online)?

If not, I'll go hunting for it a bit.

Here's a different recent article I forgot to post:
https://twitter.com/LambeLisa/status/787943082960510976

She mentions Fionnuala in the article, but in the context of this particular reference, it's about a person (Lady Ardee, the CEO of Killruddery).  Wink

It does seem reasonable to have a song about her or named after her given Lisa's residency there.

I'm guessing Hazelwood is about Hazelwood House in Calry, Ireland.
