I've been waiting all day to listen to these and wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww these clips are incredible!
I'm CWAZY in love every song (not that that's unusual for a Celtic Woman album though. HAHA)!
Some spoilers below if you haven't heard the tracks yet.My Heart Will Go On:
I like this clip but I I loved the breathtaking harmony from the teaser video even more.
Isle of Hope, Isle of Tears:
The version from Songs from the Heart was one of my favourite songs ever. Eabha's voice in this solo version gives me a whole new reason to love this song.
As She Moved Through The Fair:
It's nice to hear Susan's take on this song. I'm interested to hear how the full song will turn out.
Mo Ghile Mear:
What an interesting combo. It almost sounds like a more traditional Irish way of singing it (the pause points in particular) than the "Classic Celtic Woman" version...but with English lyrics. I really like the orchestration and thunderous percussion. I'm REALLY looking forward to going CWazy when they perform this live.
Ave Maria:
I'm sooo glad that Mairead gets to really show off her beautiful voice in this album.
For the Love of a Princess:
A nice slow song. This should be a great showcase for Tara's classical violin skills.
Time to Say Goodbye:
WOW! Mairead's voice (including her spectacular opera range) is perfect for this song!
Dulaman:
Great to hear Meav's voice again! Similar to the previous CW arrangements at first, then some really amped-up orchestration that I'm SUPER-excited about!
Walk Beside Me:
It's hard to render an opinion from this clip. It sounds nice, although the orchestration is almost so strong that it's drowning out the singing. Lol. I'm looking forward to what the full track sounds like.
O America:
O America? O ... M ... G !!!!! This clip sounds incredible! It's sounds so beautiful! And I'm very happy Meav finally gets to sing this!
A Time For Us
I don't think I know this song. I'll have to listen to some other versions on the YouTube for comparison. It sounds like a lovely slow solo.
Across the World
I can already tell from the teaser video and this clip that this is going to be one of the most fun songs EVER! Can't wait to go CWazy during the live version of this!
Teir Abhaile
The Destiny Tour version with some extra orchestration.
Joy to the World
It will be interesting to hear the finale of this song. The carols from Home for Christmas were some of the most spectacular versions I've ever heard. I wonder which version we'll get to hear during the Home for Christmas tour this year? Lol.
Silent Night / Once in Royal Davids City
Aww, that soothing Celtic Woman harmony is truly like no other in the world!
I think I just hit max-level-CWazy with these clips!
