So what songs would you guys like to hear Tara cover on her violin, harp, vocals, or all of them combined?
I'd love to hear her version of Fields of Gold!

For Crucán na pBáiste, I'd also love her to either: - Cover it with the violin while the other girls are singing, or - Sing it while also playing the harp I LOVE Deirdre's version, but my goodness it would sound amazing with all the girls together. I would seriously start crying if they did this as a group because I would be so happy.

How about this one? It is a true story, a touching story. I love her accent and she seems to get more emotional near the end of the song. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p4jFCymw6KU

There is no Lambe like our Lil' Lambe. Mairead Carlin is the real deal.

Now that you mention it, Tara DOESN`T do any singing during a show...at least the one I saw last night. Her fiddle playing and harp are wonderful and the smiles and little "faces" she makes while performing show how much she`s enjoying herself.....in fact , after the show I told her "you look like you`re having fun on stage" and she said "I`m very lucky to be doing this" Still, I`d LOVE to hear her sing at least one number.

I agree, Kevin. She should be given at least one song. She has a good voice and I would like her to have two or three songs.

They're too short for full-lengh songs, but maybe as some sort of flight-related medley: - Romantic Flight (from How to Train Your Dragon) - We Can Fly (Two Steps from heck)
Two of the most gorgeous sweeping melodies I've ever heard in my life and I would literally be in tears if Tara played these.

Do you guys think they'll ever let Tara sing in Celtic Woman? I'm still hoping!

I'm hoping too!
I've been thinking the last couple of days that it would be cool if Tara did any of the songs with the story of "Wicked Sister" from Meav's Silver Sea. The one with the sisters, and the jealous one kills the other, and the corpse eventually gets turned into a harp and tells the tale of what happens? There's a bunch of different songs with that story, but nearly all the ones I've heard has a harp in it. Tara could be on harp, and either sing it or just accompany one of the other girls. The harp's pretty important for the story!

I want her to get at least one singing solo and I wish she could be the fourth voice in the group songs too. She deserves to be able to share ALL her musical talents in Celtic Woman. And as far as it being too much for her, I think she could totally handle it.
