Has anyone here ever heard of the website, Wikia? It is a lot like Wikipedia in that anyone can edit it if they wanted to. There are a lot of different versions of it. I was wondering if we should create a Celtic Woman version of it. I can share links of other versions so people know what they are like. What do you think about my idea?

I know there is at least 1 forum member who uses Wikia.
There is already a Celtic Woman wiki on Wikia. Smiley

There is one. That's good to know. Do you think that some of us should get accounts at Wikia and help out the Celtic Woman wikia site? I should have a Wikia account, but I don't yet.

It sounds cool but quite a bit of work to build and maintain.

I guess one thing we'd want to ask ourselves is what our goals would be and can we achieve those goals with existing mechanisms (ie. Actual wikipedia). Granted, we'd have more control over content in a wikia.
