Chloë and Eamonn McCrystal performed together tonight live on stage at the Grand Ole Opry (http://www.opry.com/).

Dedicated to honoring country music’s rich history and dynamic present, the Grand Ole Opry showcases a mix of country legends and the contemporary chart-toppers who have followed in their footsteps.

I tuned in live on Nashville's WSM (650 AM).

Here's a recording of the first show:

And a video of the second show (Glen will likely post it on YouTube too for your viewing enjoyment):

Chloë and Eamonn performed two songs:
  • We've Got Tonight
  • The Island

Both songs were outstanding!

As good as the music was, I think the highlight for me was Chloë's excitement. They were both REALLY pumped up for this but my goodness, Chloë's excitement level was off the charts! I don't think I've ever heard her more elated!

Side-note: if you saw/heard Chloë's videos leading up to the performance today or listened to her on stage, that's about the same level of bubbling giddiness I exhibited when I met her back in August ... although when Chloë does it it's adorable beyond belief. I think my giddiness probably came across more on the creepy side, hey, it's called uncontrollable excitement for a reason.

Performing was clearly a dream come true Chloë and Eamonn. I'm so happy for her. I hope this helps her reach an even a wider audience. It could be an incredible boost for Chloë's solo career. Perhaps even more importantly, her personality and music would bring joy to the untapped masses.

They're back on at 11:00 PM CST tonight!

Woooo!!!!!

Yesterday, Chloë was excited as could be to be living her dream:

Today, Chloë shared with us why performing at the Ryman as part of the Grand Ole Opry meant so much to her:

Thank you all for your beautiful messages of support and love today.

I want to share something with you all.

3 years ago when I left Celtic Woman, I had great ideas but no real clue of what happened next. I came to Nashville to do some soul searching. I was both excited and terrified of what was ahead of me.

One of the days I was there I bought a ticket to do a tour of The Ryman Auditorium as it was a venue I had dreamed about performing in from as young as I can remember.

I snuck away from the tour group to steal a few minutes to myself in the place they call 'Gods Listening Room.'

I sat there staring at the stage and breathing in the air in a room whose walls have seen and heard the greatest artists in history and so many of my musical idols. I made a promise to myself that day that I would work as hard as I could, to be real, to stay true to myself and to always be grateful in life. In return I asked the universe to hear me and help me on my journey and one day give me the chance to perform on the Grand Ole Opry at The Ryman Auditorium because I want to believe that if you truly want something enough you have to put it out there into the world and never give up on it.

Tonight I made my Grand Ole Opry debut and got to perform on The Ryman stage.

I got to go back to the same spot and thank whoever it is up there for hearing me.

As life would have it, today marks the one year anniversary of my dear Grandad's passing. Being a singer himself, he shared the same love for music as I and I know he was with me on stage tonight.

Truthfully, I have had wonderful highs and very difficult lows over the last few years and I know this is still only the beginning for me with a long way to go... But if nothing else, tonight proved to me that dreams actually can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.

Have courage, be brave, be prepared to make mistakes and get back up again. And most importantly don't let anything or anyone ever stop you. Because moments like these are worth every single second of it.

Thank you to all of you for sticking with me along the way. And from the bottom of my heart, thank you to @theryman and Eamonn McCrystal for a night I will never forget.
