They played For the Love of a Princess on the radio today.

It was nice, but it wasn't the Celtic Woman version.

The classical station here played Carrickfergus ... but I'm not sure that song works while being belted out by a baritone with excessive vibrato. It definitely was not as satisfying as the Celtic Woman version (or the Orla / Lisa Kelly solo versions).

I saw Trans-Siberian Orchestra yesterday.

Very spectacular, both in terms of music and visuals.

But as awesome as it was, it wasn't Celtic Woman.

On may way home, they played A Time for Us and Scarborough Fair back to back.

The versions played could not hold a candle to those performed by Celtic Woman.
