Celtic Woman did a 1 Mic 1 Take version of Danny Boy before returning from the Grammy Awards ceremony.

They unveiled it on March 16 in celebration of St. Patrick's Day.

This was a particularly exceptional version of Danny Boy.

I think the version from Songs from the Heart will always be my favourite. But I I'd put this new performance of the Voices of Angels arrangement on par with the Songs from the Heart version and there some parts that were even better.

Agreed Songs From The Heart always but Voice's Of Angel's rises in beauty to top but I can't choose I love the Danny Boy Group Accapella simple way so much!

Someone said CWF biased because he said Emerald was the best harmony..

For me the best is also the Anniversary tour versions.

I love love listening Alex with Mairead C, Susan. Alex shows her full capabilities & potential as CW shining l Iike star filling in Lynn & Lisa L's part! I replay it a lot! 

Although Lynn's voice with Susan, Mairead C were excellently well fit together for CW just like Lisa L what threesome!

I might take some heat for this, but I found aspects of the harmony (up until the climax) a bit underwhelming by Celtic Woman standards. It felt more like an ad-lib that at times didn't quite work out, rather than a well-conceived harmony. Perhaps that was the "1 Take" aspect of it coming into play.

Don't get me wonrg the first part was still really pretty, it just wasn't overwhelmingly spectacular like the last third of the song.

The harmony in the climax of the song was excellent and the new ending was REALLY pretty.

The individual singing was great! Eabha's haunting voice was pretty epic in this song.
