One CWazy Canadian! Chlovër for life!

On March 16, Mairead did a second workshop live on Facebook.

https://www.facebook.com/maireadnesbittcelticviolinist/videos/1875217256090881/

The video is just over about an hour and 22 minutes in length.

It was similar in format to the previous workshop on Facebook live:
- Mairead demo'd some violins from her line  played some fantastic music
- She talked about some techniques, including different ways to hold the bow
- Mairead gave some tuning, practice, and playing tips
- Questions and Answers
- Some people got to play with Mairead in front of the audience
... they got and get some pointers from her and got to try out her violins
- There were some REALLY good violin players

Around 53:30, one of the audience members that played with Mairead gave one of her violins a great endorsement.

Some of the songs performed:
- The Contradiction
- Sean O Duibhir An Ghleanna
- The Ballydesmond Polkas
- There Is No Night
- Captain H
- The Butterfly
- The Ashoken Farewell (nice duet)
- Down By the Sally Gardens

One of the interesting things that came up is that she's open-minded about returning to Celtic Woman at some point. She just wanted to take some time away to do her solo and family albums. She's definitely not in the same "done is done" mindset as Chloë and Lisa when they left.

I've got to say, even though I don't play violin, these workshops have given me an even greater appreciation for some of the techniques she uses.

P.S. Thanks for another shout-out. They honestly make me feel special and I'm really grateful.
