Have you guys been to different kinds of shows this summer? I went to the UniverSoul Circus for my second time by the FedEx Field at Wednesday and I've succeeded my wish to ride on an elephant. When I took the front riding position and the others got behind me, we all rode and as the Asian elephant moved around twice, I waved famously to crowds of summer campers who came to the same place like a star on the stage, and I was like, "Hello, USA summer campers!" One group is a team of purple T-shirts, another is a team of orange T-shirts, there's also the yellow-green team and the blue team. The kids cheered at me as I rode and waved at the same time. It's like a person on a parade float! Only in the case of animals, of course. Smiley

I finally went to see Riverdance a few months ago.

It was a really fun high-energy show, especially the second half.

They split the touring cast in to 4 groups I think and there were some guests that rotated into the tour for a while, including Edel Murphy (maybe Lynn as well, I can't remember if she did any shows on this tour). At the show I went to, I didn't get to see any of the big-name singers I was familiar with.

No disrespect to the singers in the group I saw, but it really would have put this show at another level if I had been lucky enough to see Edel or Lynn.

Anyways, the focus of the show was the dancing and that was all entertaining and very well done.

I went to one of the Metropolitan opera's free summer recitals at the summer stage in Central Park  back in June and last Monday month I saw A midsummer night's dream at the delacourt amphitheater. Both nights were perfect and it was really nice to see midsummer nights dream in an out door theatre in the summer. It made me feel like I was actually part of the show.
