I have been listening to Anabel singing "My Land" and "Orphan Girl" over and over.  Her voice has so much soul and is so mature for a girl of 16.  I would love for her to join CW.

There is no Lambe like our Lil' Lambe.  Mairead Carlin is the real deal.

I watched Celtic Woman: Homecoming on a different PBS station tonight!

The girls didn't tour this particular PBS station, so no pledge break interviews. This station did a much better job of pronouncing the group name. They focused their compliments on the music and the variety in the show, rather than on the performers (the station on which I first saw the special promoted Tara pretty heavily). I thought that was interesting that the PBS station without a M+G focused more on Tara than the station that had a M+G.

One of the hostesses of the pledge breaks this time says she was at the very first Celtic Woman show at The Helix, working for PBS.  Shocked

She said they knew right away Celtic Woman would be special.

I find myself appreciating the performances in Homecoming more and more each time I watch it. Only 1 month until the DVD releases to the public!

Anyone of you Vision a video made of O America with the current girl's alongside Meav.
It be similar to the Song's of Praise one on Amazing Grace. I don't know how they would pull it off better than Song's From The Heart. A backdrop scene with America's popular sites Grand canyon, the US Capital etc!

A Time For Us was great too it is not going to be on Homecoming. Maybe the Homecoming tour will have one or new added new songs!*`

What are your opinion's for these only VOA tracks besides Meav is not featured!

Personally, I think O America would be a very appropriate song for the times, perhaps even more so than it was for IoH / SftH. I was a bit surprised they didn't perform it during VoA, honestly. That VoA album arrangement was ridiculously amazing!

I would love for them to do one of those special videos like they did when they debuted the song during the Isle of Hope tour. I doubt that Méav will tour with them (unless a fill-in is needed on short notice), so a one-time special video, featuring Méav with the girls, would be ideal.

I like the idea for the backdrop scenes. Another idea that might work well for backdrop scenes for that song would be some emotional and heartwarming scenes of people, united after hardship. I'll let you use your imaginations for what scenes could be used, but I think that the VoA arrangement, both of those background scene ideas spliced together, would be a tear-jerker of epic proportions!

They may end up doing A Time For Us on the Homecoming tour.

P.S. I'm working on something for a Homecoming album / DVD review. It's a bit different than the way I did my previous reviews and will take some time, but I think it might turn out well.
