2017 was a pretty fun trip around the sun for me.
It went to 11+ concerts in 8 different cities, 4 states, and 2 countries. I saw:
- Celtic Woman: Voices of Angels (x2)
- Rocktopia (x2) featuring Mairead Nesbitt
- Chloë (x3)
- Lisa Kelly (in Peachtree City)
- Riverdance
- Lisa Lambe in NYC
- Amy Rivard in NYC
This was a year of first for me. For the first time, I:
- Met Celtic Woman
- Met Mairead Nesbitt
- Met Lisa Lambe
- Met Amy Rivard (x2)
- Saw Lisa Kelly
- Saw Riverdance
- Saw Trans-Siberian Orchestra
- Went to a fan gathering (in Peachtree City)
It was a really busy and sometimes exhausting year for me, but it was lots of fun!
This year was a really exciting year for our favourite Celtic ladies as well:
- Celtic Woman attended the Grammy Awards (Destiny nominated for Best World Music Album)
- Celtic Woman had 3 albums in the Billboard World Albums top 10: Destiny, Voices of Angel, and The Best of Christmas
- Tara and Eabha performed at Red Rocks for the first time
- Celtic Woman recorded their new PBS special "Homecoming" (along with a live album) at the 3Arena in Dublin
- CaraNua released an album, "Favorite Hymns," with Jason Tonioli
- Amy Rivard released a new album, "On Common Ground" with Georgia Weber
- Chloë released a new Christmas EP ("Home For Christmas")
- Orla released a new album ("Sweet by and By")
- Mairead Nesbitt released her family album "Devil's Bit Sessions"
- Mairead Nesbitt performed with Rocktopia
- Mairead Nesbitt unveiled her new violin line
- Susan McFadden got married!
Some things to look forward to in 2018:

- Celtic Woman: Homecoming tour
- Something exciting is rumored for the summer of 2018
- CaraNua makes their concert debut in the US in January
- Lisa Lambe and Chloë will likely release their long-anticipated albums in 2018
- Eabha, Tara, and Mairead Carlin, and Hayley have also been working on new material. I'm not sure if they will release albums in 2018, but it's possible.
- Tara gets married in January
- it sounds like it won't be long until Éabha's wedding
- Lisa Kelly is confident she's doing a show in spring. It may not be at the Fred (due to management issues), but it will apparently happen somewhere
- Mairead Nesbitt performs with Rocktopia on Broadway
- Chloë's "Whine Party" (hopefully 2018 is finally the year)
