I made a CaraNua Fans account on Twitter!

@CaraNuaFans
https://twitter.com/CaraNuaFans

I haven't done anything with it yet since I want to set it up a bit before I properly unveil it.

I created a simple little profile picture for starters:

I added a simple banner:

I tried to do give it sort of a "Greatest Showman" feel.

I think the profile pic turned out alright.

Something doesn't look right to me about the banner though, like the text and the original logo don't work together. Maybe that's just me. I don't know.

What do you think?

If it's adequate, I can probably start using the account, but I'm not great with graphics, so if anyone has any banner suggestions or wants to make a better one, I'd sure appreciate it!

Fabulous Tom, great work & creativity!
I love doing profile logo's for fan pages, banner's.
I do favor your's! The profile one is great as is! Simple but to the point!

You mention not sure if the banner looks adequate or not.
It's simplicity is great just like the profile. Here's to me in my opinion only what I see is what looks off a bit about it. I value your going with making it look the Greatest Showman look for them.

All it needs is resizing the Title "Fans" on the Banner.
The font is great but just size it a tiny bit smaller not much but that's all and terrific!

Thanks!

Just to clarify, you mean the font is small in this one right?

I agree, it's a bit small.

One of the challenges is that this profile pic gets cropped to a circle when Twitter displays it, so there's not a lot of space in the corners.

The word is a bit to short to wrap around in an arch / semicircle above or below.

I might be able to put the "fans" text directly below the logo. I'll try a few more variations and see what it looks like.

Here's another design I was playing around with:

... which crops as a circle to this, taking advantage of the bottom of the circle for the big tail on "F"

#2

How does that look in terms of sizing and placement of the word "fans."

I think it looks alright, but seems a little unbalanced at the bottom with two swirls and the word "fans."

I tried another variant with the word "fans" a little smaller and centered at the bottom:

#3

I like the way the top of the "F" almost touches the swirl and almost looks like it flows with it.

I also tried to make the word "fans" flow with both the bottom swirls, but retain some of the eye-catching / circus-post-like tilt.

#4

I think of the styles I tried, I prefer #2.

What do you think?

Do any of those look particularly good?

If there's any tweaking I can do to make it look better, please let me know and I'll try it out.

Wow ,  Great stuff here!* All I was referring to were was for the Banner. The profile to me is ready cool the way is.

I Agree with you if I were to choose from the following to change the profile #2 look's awesome and since it's circular having the fans font a little larger than the banner it works vise versa I like opposite counterparts!
 Cool Smiley

Feel free to ask anything !

I Do like the circular one first with the black & white too fans on top*.

I finally got a decent looking transparency done of one of their concert photos and started trying to incorporate into a banner design.

Twitter forced me to move things around more and crop it differently so it would fit in their banner space.

So here's the new version.

What do you think so far?
