So there's a YouTube video about meet and greets.  Most of the recent ones I went to weren't like this.  I've had M&Gs in stairwells (Akron and Fort Myers).  I've had them in the "dining room" (Daytona and Orlando).  Yes, a few have been really good.  Some of the PBS stations (in olden times) even put out snacks when the M&G was after the show.

At least no one seemed to be pushing you thru quite as bad as they used to.  The last one I went to I barely had time to say more than HI.

I think a minute or two is about what you get, depending on how many people there are, how late they start it, etc.

I plan for 15-30 seconds per girl and if I don't get around to saying anything, I send it to them afterwards on Twitter or Instagram.

Depends on the venue.....since the Providence Performing Arts Center has no parking lot, the tour buses park on a small side street  next to the theater....the girls and musicians have to exit the stage door and walk up Richmond Street to the buses. It`s a great opportunity to chat with them, take pics and get autographs. They`re very accomodating about doing that. I think Tom needs to save his pennies and attend a show at PPAC......it`s a beautiful theater with fantastic accoustics and a great chance to chat with the girls and musicians after the show. ****funny  side note***....one of the forum members bought Anthony a 12 pack of Narragansett beer(made in Rhode Island), apparently promising to do so when he saw him at a show a few weeks earlier.I told Anthony " I like Guiness"....he said "I don`t know, the American made Guiness is rather sketchy".

Ha. I think the amount of time at a M+G, while absurdly short for most people, works out pretty well for me in particular. If I had more time, I would just be more awkward in front of them for longer. It's more effective to write what I have to say in a card or letter. Stage and Greets are better for people that don't have this many problems communicating.

The girls are quite friendly....Tara mentioned that when they had performed in Florida two weeks before, she was wearing shorts and a t-shirt and now it was cold here in R.I. I told her the weather had been unusually cold, like 20 degrees below normal.....then I realized I was having a conversation with Tara like I`d have with any friend.
