What's the most special song to you that you've heard Celtic Woman perform live at a show, in person?

Hearing My Land and Westering Home on the Destiny tour meant a lot to me because of what a huge role those two songs played in the past few years of my life. Almost all the amazing dreams of mine that have come true recently I can trace back to those two songs.

But I think that the most special song I heard live was Susan performing From A Distance during the Homecoming tour. By April (the beginning of March, actually), I was already pretty sure that that Susan was going to be taking a break at the end of the tour, although I didn't know the reason until later. One of the things I told her during the Meet and Greet was that before Celtic Woman, From A Distance was once my favourite song. It's also one of the songs I requested when Celtic Woman was asking for song suggestions a few years ago. To hear it performed so beautifully by Susan, one of my favourite singers, was truly special and I had to let her know how much that meant to me.

I got to see two shows on the Homecoming tour. I was worried when Susan had to take a few weeks off to go back to Ireland for a funeral that I was going to miss out on hearing her sing it. But fortunately, she rejoined the tour in time for the concerts I went to. During the second show, I was feeling a bit emotional because I knew I was probably not going to hear her sing it again and wanted to savor every moment.

I wish she had recorded it on an album or DVD, but I'm soooo glad I got to hear it performed by her beautiful voice while she was with Celtic Woman.

Susan, if you end up reading this one day, thank you from the bottom of my heart. <3

I've gpt to go with The Parting Glass; specifically at the Believe DVD taping in Atlanta.  Confetti cannons, bagpipers out in the audience, orchestra.  Good night and Joy be to you all!

I really wish I'd been there for that. Even on DVD, that moment was sooooo epic that The Parting Glass became my favourite song for about 6 years.

Susan singing "The Call" during The Emerald Tour has to be my most special live song. "The Call" from SftH was one of the very first songs I had ever heard by CW, and it was also the song that turned me into a fan. So, hearing it sung live during The Emerald Tour (which was my first CW concert, as well) was emotional and an incredible experience for me.

Hearing "Sky, Dawn, Sun" for the first time live was also special. After years of being a fan, seeing Máiréad Nesbitt come out on stage and playing her majestic violin intro gave me goosebumps. I remember being like THIS is it! Cheesy

Lastly, I teared up when Lynn started singing "Dúlaman," even though it's not really a sad song. Cheesy I guess it was because I had just processed that I was actaully, finally seeing CW in concert and not dreaming! Cheesy

Yeah, pretty sure you had some green on a few rows from the stage.

You probably won't be able to see me much, if at all, on Ancient Land since even though I was close to the stage (row 2 on night 1 and row 1 on night 2), we were on the "dark" side facing away from the main camera shots. I can see my absurdly bright pants for a moment on one of the preview videos they've posted so far.  Cheesy  Totally fine with me. I'd rather look at the girls than whatever brand of awkward I had on display during the concert. LOL!

Seeing the original 4 with Mairead Nesbitt live all songs!
My 1st live show was A New Journey and the news was Meav and Hayley were alternating. I was so glad I got Meav the original 5 for my first ever live concert. Hearing Meav do Danny Boy in solo live in real!  Shocked
Then the next year 2nd show with Alex and Lynn.
Knowing this Celtic Woman A New Journey show would be so changed now without Meav the 1st go Lynn doing Danny Boy solo.  Shocked like nothing ever changed!!!! I loved Alex bringing power to the group. The Voice was Amazing! I was in love even though my mom wasn't into the new ones yes nothing beats but Lynn and Alex to this day are their own originals!

Most Special About Live is Anything best comes
 Unique Performances.
Extended Versions of Fields of Gold, Carolina Rua, True Colors, You'll Be in My Heart.

Was so close I found a video someone took of Red Rocks with Alex doing Dulaman. It was the near end of the pre song but stopped before Alex sang. Alex & Lynn Si Do Maheimo I no source.

Me seeing Lynn doing The Voice (1 Month ONLY) of The Tenth Anniversary Tour was the MOST surprising and live treasure for us April month Decade celebrators!  Grin

I was prepared for Lynn to do Scarborough Fair had she not done it in Dublin, Meav done it and not surprised Alex would but was more geared Lynn did Scarborough Fair. May folks got both because Lynn & Alex!
