I wonder why Mairéad deleted nearly all of her photos on Instagram.
Oh boy. I think something went wrong there.
I don't know how many Instagram posts she had before, but I bet it was quite a few. Maybe it's different on iPhone, but Android at least, it's not that easy to mass-delete posts. You pretty much have to do them one at a time. Maybe there's a mass-purge app or something, but to wipe out a specific date range (October 4, 2016 to April 27, 2018) seems kind of unusual, even for an app. I don't see any weird posts fro her account, so I don't think it got hacked or anything.
It was a day off and I guess it's possible she removed all those posts intentionally, but I can't really think of a good reason for such a significant investment in time and effort. Surely she had better things to do than to spend hours deleting posts.
I haven't seen the same thing happen on her Twitter or Facebook account. If she really was housekeeping or something, she probably would have done that for more than just Instagram.
It could be a bug in Instagram, I suppose. Most likely something's going on with the database and that the pictures are still there, but just not getting retrieved / displayed properly. Let's give it a day or so. It might get fixed by then.
