Kimberly, Alex comes from musical theatre. She has spent a lot of time singing in plays. Also she sings with bands. I think she is a very good person to help out while Lisa is away. Here is a link to her singing in a pub. http://youtube.com/watch?v=UXsUEjFJeGo

It's not unusual for Irish entertainers, however famous, to join in a séisiún in a pub. I know our other CW ladies have done this, too.
I think Alex is from Dublin, Kimberly.

Wow, from playing in a bar with nobody paying attention to Celtic Woman.
It's not really a case of "from playing in a bar, to Celtic Woman".
In Ireland, there are thousands of music pubs where musicians bring their instruments, usually at the weekend, and join in a séisiún (session) along with singers, or even some who recite poetry. They do this out of a love of tradition, and not for money.
When I was a child, I remember seeing the great Brendan Behan reciting his work in a Dublin Pub. It would not be surprising to see any of the Celtic Woman team in this type of setting. Ray Fean and the other musicians will have done this many times.
I can guarantee you if Máiréad happened to be in a pub with her fiddle, and other local musicians started to play, she would ask permission to join in. Nobody would bat an eyelid. Such is the respect of musicians for each other. They do not consider themselves too high and mighty to join in a traditional séisiún.

This is one of many things I want to experience when we finally make the family holiday to Ireland. To be able to go and experience the music.

Maybe you can write everything true about Alex Sharpe in the Wikipedia as well as the same thing about Lynn Hilary.

I like that Maggie. That's the way it should be.

Something true about Alex Sharpe seems right to me. What if we make a Wikipedia discussion about her? I know what she is.
