In her solo CD's liner notes they talk about her next CD. Does anyone know if its been recorded or when it will be? I can't wait for more of her voice.

I have not heard anything in regards to that mainopsman. Certainly if and/or when I do, I would be happy to share the news. Likewise, I trust you would be happy to do the same, as well.

Órlagh's second cd was to be recorded last summer, but because of the incredible success of Celtic Woman the opportunity has not been there to get into the studio. Órlagh is anxious to start recording, but circumstances have not yet allowed this to happen. We will have to be patient.

Orla is just everything to me. Her voice and harp are so soothing. She is so beautiful and just such a gracious lady. She and the other ladies of CW have brought Celtic Music to whole generations of people who may have not otherwise never gotten to hear it.

I echo all the beautiful sentiments you've all used to describe Orlagh! I just love her singing and playing the harp. Her voice has such a haunting quality to it, especially the Gaeilge songs!

In reading the entire song it seems to me that it is being spoken by a MAN since it refers to his "boyhood friends" and HE refers to HIMSELF as a "HANDSOME ROVER". Sometimes in the old days a man might refer to another man as "handsome" and just mean possibly STRONG or ABLE (for the boat-man). I think a MAN is reflecting on his PAST in the place he grew up and LOVES above ALL other places. At the end HE is calling on other YOUNG MEN to "lay me down" meaning to LAY HIM IN HIS GRAVE. Angie People have been trying to determine the origin and meaning of that song for a long time. The Mudcat Café forum has a great thread on it; it started back in 2000, and people have been posting on it ever since.
