I am psyched ! I'll start saving now - ever see those pottery jars that you can put change in with different sayings on them like " casino fund" ,etc. Well, I 'm going to have one made that says " Celtic Woman Concert Fund " !!

Have a great weekend everybody!!

You don't like brown dust followed by thunderboomers and maybe some rain?

I'm going to see them here in L.A. tomorrow and now I know that they'll be back in this area again next year! I'm really looking forward to seeing Hayley perform, but it would be nice if Meav will perform in L.A. next year.

;DOk Rich,Here's my idea.In 2004 Lord of the Dance did a summer program for 6 weeks at EPCOT in Disneyworld,3 shows nightly.I think I attended about 40 of 126 showswhich I thught at the time was amazing, considering my age!!(I felt like 120!!!) How about CW starting there concert here in Orlando next summer & just stay here! They'll never have to travel again! All of our CW friends can come down & stay with us,(OK Maggie???It's only 6 weeks-lol)But we would get to see them 126 times. You think that might b enough for 2008?

I hope they come back to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania area next year. They could do two concerts, one in Scranton at the beginning of the tour and the other in Wilkes-Barre near the end.

Maybe even one in Binghamton, New York and one in the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvnia.

If they do come back to my area and I hope I am able to go, I'll have to find out where they go after the show. I read on another thread about some people meeting the band members which I would like to do.

Well, PBS is going to need something new for next winter's begathons.   Grin

Yes as long as they generate revenues there will be a CW tour in some way shape or form. I think they will have one every year, even if some slump years hit (GASP! I know..I know) It will be a little like wrestlemania or the super bowl. (sorry for sports analogies, I like and understand sports best) They would really have to bomb out several years in a row to actually get cancelled out. Or get into some type of contractual dispute with PBS over compensation. Thats what worries me.

Something that surprised me when I saw CW was the lack of youngsters in the audience. It could just be that they don't have many young American fans, as kids like the MTV acts more than PBS acts. But I suspect many young kids do like them. It may have been the venue though. It was sort of a 'classy' type place and maybe children under a certain age were subject to some restriction. But it does seem like great family oriented entertainment. And younger CWs seem like great role models for the kids.

Be still my heart, WOW!!!, they will be back in 2008.   Need to save my money for more then two concerts, and the new DVD and CDs they will be making, I hope.

Rich,  if they do come to Jacksonville for a month, I better save my money for an extended hotel stay.  I'll be there.
