I have most all the recorded works of Celtic Woman and individual CDs, however during live concerts I have heard a few songs that have never been recorded. One, The Last Rose of Summer by Chloe and Meav. I think these two ladies have the perfect harmony but their version has never been recorded. Two, Meav singing Scarborough Fair. Hayley did a great version and I have it, but I wish I had a recording by Meav.  I hope there is a chance that she may record this on a later CD. Third, and I have requested in person that Mairead record this. The violin version of The Last Rose of Summer. I have heard  her play this several times and I think it is the most beautiful song she has ever played. I have the deluxe New Journey CD so I have Shenandoah and her CD so I have There is No Night but I guess I always want more.

Don,
I am sure you remember Meav singing Scarborough Fair in that Performance of a Lifetime in Chattanooga on June 4th, 2007; and I told Meav at that Meet and Greet that her performance this night of that song was better than she had ever performed it, or Hayley had ever performed it. It was that good on that Magical night. Don`t we wish we had that version recorded?

Then after Meav and Chloe sang The Last Rose of Summer, Mairead then played that song more beautifully than I have ever heard it played by Mairead or anyone else. Of course, no one can play any better than Mairead.

I concur with what you have said about the other songs you said you would like to have. You have extremely good taste in music and song.

See you soon.

Jim
