The Lord is my shepherd...

« on: March 30, 2008, 05:20PM »

This was my first time getting to see Alex and Lynn as part of the show. I thought that they added nicely to the show. Though me being a Lisa fan, I did miss her. I did think that the song "Over the Rainbow" was the best that I had heard.
Cleo was at her best. With her and Lynn doing " The Last Rose of Summer " , I also thought  that was very good. At the end of the show, Cleo got the biggest ovation.
      Orla was also very good.
One thing I did hear was a few changes in the overall araingements of some of the songs.
There was a slight problem with Meriad's fiddle. One string seemed to not sound steady( It's hard to explain unless you were there.)
Alex I think did great with all the songs that Lisa normally sings. Each of them have their own presance on the stage.
Over all I thought that the show was spectacular as usual. Just being in the building and hearing the music is the best therapy. If I didn't have another commitment on the 29th, I would have gone to both shows. That show though I think was completlysold out.

                                       Hope that is enough,
