I finally got to see Alex perform. I really enjoyed her performance!! She has an incredible voice. I couldn't help, however, comparing her to Lisa (*lol*). Her voice is dynamic and it is very evident she came from a musical theatre background. She is very animated and theatrical and very pleasant to watch perform. You can tell she is very comfortable on stage. I can't wait to have Lisa back, but I certainly wouldn't mind watching Alex stick around.... Smiley

yep, Alex is quite a spectacular performer. she did an absolutely amazing job on the Voice and The Soft Goodbye at the show that I went to.

I am still really impartial toward Lisa's version of Caledonia, though  Tongue

Yeah, I agree. Alex had me TOTALLY fixed while she performed. She expressed her emotions very good while performing. Oh, and you missed it when I went to the concert on February 26th. You said that her voice is dynamic, right? Well, it was SO strong that she blew out the microphone for nearly 6-8 seconds when she sang "The Voice." Kind of ironic that she blew out the mic on "The Voice." Hehe Sad

Haven't had a chance to see her live yet, but I LOVE her performance on the YRMU video!

Powerful is the way I would describe Alex's voice, as well. She is also very dramatic. I believe she has a great career ahead of her, especially in musical theatre. I'm looking forward to following her career when she leaves Celtic Woman.

Thanks for the links. I think I'll take a look to see if she has a birthdate.
