I  asked this question before on one of our now-defunct former forums, but I'll ask it again: Does anyone know, or know who knows, the link to the video performance of "O Holy Night?"

I figured now with all the excitement surrounding the news about the Christmas DVD, forum members old and new might like a sampling of just what a treat (heck --blessing!!) we have in store for us.  Grin

Can anybody out there help?

Sure. Here's the link to the video page:

http://www.musik-base.de/Bands/C/Celtic-Woman/1148-O-Holy-Night.html

However, to view it, you need to register on the site. Just click on the link that says:

Melde dich hier an - es ist kostenlos!

and fill out the usual info (the German tags are self-explanatory):

eMail
Benutzername
Passwort
Passwort (wdh.)

Then, once you log in, you'll be able to enjoy the video.

Thanks so much, Celeste! I swear, this time I'm gonna' tattoo that link on my arm.

To all new members and/or the uninitiated: Run, don't walk, to this link. This performance must be seen to be believed (and even then...) Talk about your "Angels we have heard on high." Glorious!

Was "O Holy Night" the only song cut out from the broadcast and DVD?

It's also now on YouTube! See:

Oh, and this is a very, very good question:

Was "O Holy Night" the only song cut out from the broadcast and DVD?

I wonder. Chloe's "Panis Angelicus" was held back, and it turned out to be the highlight of the entire concert.

I wonder if there is more gold sitting in the archives...

Celeste, while I agree that 'Panis Angelicus' was even better than it was on her solo DVD (a difficult feat), I'm not sure why it was the highlight of the entire concert...
EDIT: Ah.

Strange; it's on my copy...
Filmed outside a church...or was that 'Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring'?

Really? I think it's on the first track of the album called "Celtic Woman A Christmas Celebration". Seems that I've got the same sound. Wink
