Zuni !! I like that word Grin

Literally, the Zuni are the "children of the sun."  If you like the word Zuni, try this one out.  Their name for the Sun Father is "Apoyan Tachu."  Every time I hear that name, I want to say "Gesundheit."   Cheesy

But they're a wonderfullly peaceful, spiritual people, and there's only about 12,000 of them left.

My name, Gwyneth, means 'blessed' apparently. I don't know too much about its origins except that it's old Welsh. But I've grown to like my name. I used to be very self conscious about my name b/c its kind of different from the norm. But now I appreciate having something that not everyone has.  Smiley I guess I like unusual names.

I came across this place, http://www.namenerds.com/

They don't have meanigs for a good number of names, but they have a fair number of them along with alternate names.

Well I like the term/word Sheila. (some of my ancestors moved to Austraila as well as Ireland) But I still see your point! Cheesy

Hmmmm....Charles, or Karl, means 'man', or manly.

Not sure what relevance this is, but my wife, Bernice, or 'Bringer of Victory', can run a sawmill...LOL.
Maybe it means 'bringer of 2 x 4's'... Smiley
