Hmm....I would love to go. I cannot afford it, though, so that means I won't be going.  Hopefully Celtic Woman will still being doing shows someday when I can actually afford it.  Anyway, I'm just extremely excited that Celtc Woman is going to be doing a Christmas show!

Has anyone actually made a rough cost estimate? I am not a traveler, so I am new to this, but I am considering it. Here is how I think to plan. You travelers out there, please tell me if I am wrong.

5 nights cheap motel / hotel @ $100  =  $500
5 days of cheap meals                       =  $200
2 tickets (1 for ea. night) @ $100 ea  =  $200
6 cab rides - airport to hotel               = $300
                  hotel to show
   $50 ea      show to hotel
                  hotel to show
                  show to hotel
                  hotel to airport
misc, such as programs, souvenirs       = $100

thats  $ 1300  before we even consider air fare

would air fare be about $1000 round trip?

There's absolutely no way I can afford air-fare to get to Ireland  Cry

amen sister

Double Amen...besides I've already called in every favor at work so I could take the week off to fly 2,400 miles to Oakland to see the the girls.

But then again... Huh

Anyway, if you guys can pull it off...more power to you and I wish you all the best!

This is Dave -
I hope some of you guys make it to Dublin.

I got a price quote for a package deal and it's in "Celtic Culture".

Just the air fare round trip from Boston is $768 including taxes, from New York its $848, leaving on July 15 returning 22.

As I said on the other post if you leave on 15th you arrive on 16th because of the time diff.

Alas, I cannot do it either.  I am already tapped out from the shows I had on the US Tour.  I already have memories to last a lifetime, and more to come....here in America.  Smiley

I have put my name in the hat for tickets... wish me luck!

I figure about $2000 for the trip. But I have been wanting to go...so this is good reason to get me on that plane and go across the pond Grin
