Irish dog commands

I was asked on another thread for dog commands in Irish, so here's O'Malley's* vocabulary, followed by the pronunciation.
The syllable in upper case is where you put the emphasis, it any:
Sit:
Suigh síos (see sheess)
Come:
Goitse (GETCH-uh)
Come to me:
Tar liomsa (tar LUM-suh)
Lie down:
Luigh síos: (lee sheess)
Walk to heel:
siúil (shool)
Walk ahead:
aghaidh leat (air AY lat)
Leave it:
lig dó (lig doh)
Get down:
tar anuas (tar un-OO-uss)
Good dog:
maith an madadh (my un MAD-oo)
Bravo! :
maith thú! (my hoo!)
*O'Malley is my Kerry Blue Terrier.
Your dog will learn these commands quicker if you use one firm had gesture, for example for lie down, put your right arm straight out then slowly lower it.
Be patient with him!
O'Malley's favourite leash (he has the matching collar too):

Walk to heel:
siúil (shool)
Maggie, does that have anything to do with the
song
Siuil A Run? Like some part of the lyrics or something? Does it mean the same thing? Or does siuil have different meanings?

Maggie, that is perfect. My co writer and I are writing a story where the character has taught his wolf Irish commands. <g>>
