I love Orlagh because of what she has given all of us. She has especially given me my faith back, something no one has been able to do since my wifes passing.

LoL, Can't forget about those!
I love Órlagh because when you look in her eyes, you see Ireland. When you hear her voice, especially in Irish, you hear the voices of Ireland ~ past and present. When you see her smile, you see the bright future of Ireland. When she plays her harp, you sense the soul of Ireland revealed through her.
When you look at Órlagh, you see a blessing to all, from God Above.
I have written in the past forum about the time I met her at a Meet and Greet. She is indeed the sweetest person that you could meet. I got to talk to her a bit in Irish Gaelic and her and Mairead both just lit up with smiles and getting to meet them both was a highlight of my life. I have written Órlagh a few times and she has always written me back and has ecouraged me to keep up with my study of the Irish language. She also emailed to me the lyrics to An Mhaighdean Mhara when I couldn't find them on the internet. I use her music to help teach Irish to my little class of learners.
I have met many people, wonderful people, because of Órlagh and Celtic Woman. I just love to share their music with anyone that I can. At their last concert, I saw over a dozen people that I know, and several neighbors around town as well.
I love Órlagh because....she is Órlagh....a gift from Heaven Above.
Blessed are WE for being able to know her.
Craig.

I love Orla because of her kind spirit, which is reflected within her gentle voice. Her solo CD is the one I listen to each night when going to bed, her music puts my mind to ease.
She's very careful to hold out the notes for long periods of time and without fail, ends the notes with very crisp (clearly pronounced) endings. That's a talent which is very difficult to achieve, crisp endings. Just three songs by Orla is all that's needed for me to be fast asleep.
I've been priviledged and blessed to meet her in person, three times this year.

I guess the heart grows fonder while you don't see or hear from someone in ages.

I love Orla because in her solo cd here voice is so pure and lovely. It just makes me want to lay down on my bed and listen to it over and over again. Also when you hear her voice you can hear the Irish in her and the look in her eyes you can tell that she is Irish even if you were a person that didnt know that.
I can just simply say that Orla is Orla. A dreamer, beautiful, pure voice, and seems so nice

I love Orlagh because she got me interested in music again. I had turned off music as much of it had little redeeming value to me. Sad, because i used to sing quite a bit. I heard Orlagh singing "Harry's game" when it was used as bumper music between segments of a late night talk radio show called coast to coast. I found the music hauntingly beautiful so decided to find out about it. Then I found CW on PBS, and there she was. I'll always be grateful to Orlagh for giving me back music. She inspired a couple of pieces that will be in volume II of my book. Hope they do her justice.
