Has anyone else purchased the Special Christmas CD with our ladies and the High Kings from Target Stores?   (It's only available there)
I have and its really a good addition to the Celtic Woman Christmas CD.   While there are only 6 songs on the disk, it is not high priced about $7.00 with tax.
If you did buy it how did you like it?

I love that CD!  I love the arrangement of Carol of the Bells.  I looove Jesu Joy, and even though it was a bonus track on the first CW CD, it's nice to listen to it without the applauding at the end.  And I'm SO HAPPY they recorded In the Bleak Midwinter and The First Noel.  I think that is the most beautiful version of TFN I have EVER heard!  As for The High Kings, THEY ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  They need to do more Christmas songs!  Those two songs were awesome!

I first heard about it when they released it and I managed to get a copy of it at my local Target that year. As far as I know, 2008 is the only year Target has stocked that CD. I've never seen it again. I was lucky to get a copy and I love it! "Carol of the Bells" on that one is excellent, because on the other CD of "A Christmas Celebration," the "Carol of the Bells" on that is just Mairead and the choir. And that's a beautiful arrangement, but I prefer the one featuring all the girls and I'm glad I have a recorded copy of that now. And I didn't have a recording of "Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring" before that either. There's a Celtic Woman EP available on iTunes, which sells the other four songs from the first concert that aren't on the album, but I never bought it. So as you can imagine, I was glad to get that song too.

As for the High Kings, they're just plain awesome! They need to do a full Christmas album now! What are they waiting for? Celtic Woman has two in the States and one that's exclusive to Germany. The High Kings need to put one out, I want one!
