Spoilers (Updated for the Songs from the Heart tour)

In the past we’ve seen great debates over spoilers. Some people want to read a review and see pictures the instant the first concert is over. Others want to go into their concert not having heard or seen anything about the show beforehand. This is one of those things that is totally a personal call but Rich and I have found a way, we think, to help. In looking at a forum for another performer I noticed that they ran two tour boards, one for regular tour info and another for spoilers. So for the last tour and DVD we've run spoiler boards and they have been TREMENDOUSLY popular so we're going to keep on doing them.

For the new Songs from the Heart tour we have a new board called Songs from the Heart Tour Spoilers. What constitutes a spoiler? Basically anything about the show's details, so things like reviews, set lists, etc.

Because we know how important it is to some to not see any spoilers we’ll be moving any thread that contains them to the new spoiler board. At the end of the tour, we’ll move all of the topics to their appropriate places and shut the spoiler board down.

A note on graphics:
Any banner or avatar that uses pictures and/or lyrics from the new show will be considered spoilers. Artists are free to post them in the spoiler section, but members can't use them in their profile until after the tour is over. I know that means that for a few months really good graphics are going to be off limits, but we're trying to be fair to everyone.

Also, I know that from time to time the girls appear on TV. We won't move the whole thread to the spoiler board but if you post a link to a YouTube video of one of these performances PLEASE put a spoiler warning in the post. I love this idea! I am one who likes going into CW's concerts totally surprised not knowing what to expect. To me not knowing anything about the concert makes it more special.  Thanks!

Excellent idea!  For me personally, I had watched the ANJ DVD so often I was almost craving information about the show when I found out I would be able to actually attend a concert.  This time around things will be exactly the opposite, so I guess I'll have to decide when the time comes.

Okay, let's face it, I'm not the most patient of people, especially when waiting for something about or from CW ... chances are high that I'll read the spoilers board *lol*  It'll still be nice to have the option, though!

   It is an idea worth a try!  It wouldn't have worked last year, with everyone scrutinizing the reports immediately to see whether Lisa had rejoined the tour unannounced.

Sounds good to me.   Most of the time I'm anxious to read reviews and such, but this time around, with it being a brand new show that no one knows anything about yet, I'm wanting to see it without knowing anything about the show ahead of time.   Thanks you guys!
