Gordon wins one, finally. Too bad his daughter (and wife) weren't there to enjoy it with him.

How ironic that he ends his win less drought at a track that hasn't been all that great to him. I also had to note I did not here the crowed booing his win.  Wink

Only an hour away before the race tonight. I have a feeling Gordon might pull off 2 in a row tonight Grin

Was great to see him win again!  I liked that phrase.... The best driver not to win a championship.

That was a great win. I was glad to see Jack Roush and all the guys congratulate him. He is a class act. Looks like Tony was sweating a little to keep up  with 'the old man'... Grin
What's the deal with all the lugnut problems? Gordon again had a top 5 car and that killed him...what  a record...I don't think he's finished worse than 10th all year? (maybe a little farther on Daytona...didn't have time like many other cars because of the rain, but a possible winning car none the less)
I really don't have a favorite driver, but I do admire what Gordon has been accomplishing this year, and it's good to see Kurt Busch getting back in  the fight too...and Montoya really getting close...must be the Chevy's are a lot better than  the Dodges, as he won't change his driving style much..too stubborn...LOL.
I've seen him in CART and F1 and he's who he is...

The reason there's been more pit stop penalty's this year for lug nuts is that they have gone to longer wheel studs. The tire changers haven't gotten use to the change yet.
