My post isn't about NASCAR but its autoracing related so I hope no one minds I put it here.

Isn't the Indy 500 on Sunday (day before Memorial Day)? Will Danica win this year? Then again, is she even in it?

Yep, The Indy 500 is on today. ABC has the coverage starting at 11 am ET.

So good to see Jim Nabors still singing "Back home in Indiana" before the starting of the engines.

Here's his performance back in 2009

Ganassi cars are up front right now.. Pole sitter, Alex Tagliani fell to 4th after leading for quite a bit. Danica Patrick is up to 17th after starting the race 26th.

The Ganassi cars have had the cars to beat so far once again but Oriol Servia just made a great pass on Dario Franchitti for the lead! Danica Patrick has made it all the way to the top ten with 78 lap to go in the Indy 500!

Dario Franchitti is still leading with less then 50 laps to go. Danica is now up to 7th. They are about to go back to green.

Wild restart there. Had one car using the pit access road to keep from wrecking. Bisco and Bell ended up crashing in turn 2

JR Hildebrand the rookie had the lead on the final lap and on the final turn he ended up hitting the wall and allowed Dan Weldon to go by and steal the Indy 500! Danica was in the lead in the final laps but had to pit for fuel. She finished 10th.

Sooo disappointing! Dale Jr was in sight of the checkered flag and ran out of fuel! It ended up giving the Coca Cola 600 to Kevin Harvick...

Speaking of NASCAR,  I can't go into a savemart without tripping over a Savemart 350 display or walking into a drivers cardboard cutout.  Been that way for the last 6 weeks or so....still 4 weeks until that event.

That win should lock him in to the chase for sure now with 3 wins. I have a feeling Happy's going to be happy at Homestead this November if ya know what I mean! Wink

Bit of trivia for you...Orlagh's manager also represents Dan Weldon  Cheesy
