She is quite the female racer! Had the chance to read that article she did for the November 2011 issue of Road Racing World magazine and her first impressions on Alvaro Bautista's Suzuki GSV-R 800 Moto GP bike at Indianapolis. Such a humble girl. It was a great read!

I've been meaning to mention that Elena is also a professional writer. Thanks for your reply Jeff.

Elena writes a lengthy column for Roadracing World Magazine each month which is available by online subscription or snail mail subscription.

Elena is a very fine and impressive young lady. I hope she can squeeze in a degree or two while pursuing her career. 'Cause, ya know, the racing might not work out in the long run.

Well what do ya' know...

Teenage motorcycle road racing phenom Elena Myers started a class in Journalism yesterday:

http://www.elenamyers.com/

It may or may not be college but I think its very cool. And a natural route for Elena who has been writing a column in a prestigous Moto mag for some time. Should be something she can easily accomplish while pursuing here racing career. (After all, besides blistering fast on the race track Elena is a brainyack too.  Smiley )

Like Elena wrote on her Facebook, "A more intelligent Elena is a Win Win for everybody".

It looks like they ripped off the concept from one of JRRacing64's Órla Fallon cars.   Shocked Smiley

For what it is, or isn't, worth Danica Patrick made this guys "Top Ten" of Female Action Heros.

http://joel-shepherd.blogspot.com.au/2012/02/real-female-action-heroes.html

Young Elena Myers is on Mr. Shepherd's Top Ten as well.

The most interesting part is he left #1 open to readers.

Hmmmm, let me think....

Big wreck involving Menard, Kahne, Kenseth, Waltrip, Ragan and Montoya. It looks like the pack racing may be the way to go tonight.

That was pretty wild! Jeff Gordon ends up on his lid and Kyle Busch despite crashing twice tonight wins the race. Hats off to him, he's quite the wheel man!

Crazy race today! Tony Stewart wins Duel race #1 but all the attention was to Danica Patrick who had a horrific wreck on the back strait, hitting the wall at almost 180mph! She was OK despite the severity of the impact.

Matt Kenseth took home the win in Duel race #2 holding off Regan Smith.

Poor Mikey W. ...wrecked coming out of the pits and will miss the 500. I WAS impressed with Danica having the heads up to take her hands off the wheel before impact.I sure hope the 500 doesn`t become a fuel milage race.

I don't think the 500 will come down to fuel mileage. The duels worked out that way since it was only a 60 lap race and that was 10 laps more then what the fuel window is for these cars.
