I don't know if a website can be called "official" if it has Deirdre's pic labeled as "Orla" though. "Official" websites don't make those types of mistakes. |

I pulled the address directly off Manhattan's website so odds are it's accurate. Also, I looked and nowhere did I see a picture of Deirdre.

I'm afraid there's another phony out there. Someone on MySpace has put up a page purporting to be Lisa Kelly. (I won't dignify it by including the URL of the page.) The images are all "borrowed" from other sources and web sites, including copies of the portrait I did for Lisa and a graphic from my personal site. Sadly, I strongly suspect that the page actually belongs to a member of Lisa's forum (or this one). I don't believe Lisa will ever have such a page again; she had one for a short time - set up by Danielle - but she never visited it and Danielle finally deleted it. Lisa is extremely protective of her family's privacy, as well she should be. She even canceled her Bebo account when word leaked out about it.
I've written to MySpace to report the fake. I just wanted to post this so that none of our members would make the mistake of taking it seriously.

We used to love and admire our heros. Today, it seems to me that whenever anyone makes it to the top of their profession,the vultures come out to tear them down. I call it a form of
cannibalism( one who devours members of their own species). It is sad that some dumb jerk would do this to such beautiful and talented ladies.

Grrrr...Rich, where's that smiley-on-horseback! It's one thing to set something up like a fansite in HONOR of Lisa (or any of the others), but what's the point to set something up as a lie that they ARE Lisa or anyone else? Thank you, Rich, for reporting this to MySpace. Lisa and the other members of Celtic Woman give us enough...must we take every bit of privacy left to them!? Sorry, back to your regularly scheduled programming...I'll go try and relax now!  |
